I was looking for an upgrade for my 4 year old Dell, and good luck with Toshiba before I decided to buy another Toshiba. If the package is opened and activated, took off the satellite! It installs all the software in a short time. The screen is large and bright with a really high resolution. The touchpad is a bit too sensitive, but it is easily adapted. The keyboard is nice compared to my old Dell, and has a good feeling. I also like using the number keys, such as a desktop system. The satellite is useful with a lot of software for the system to keep running and to protect (such as Norton Security Suite). The only thing that disappointed me is the built-in speakers. They sound tinny and cheap. Through headphones, the sound is great, it’s just the speakers.
